Was hosting tonight and no one was getting phone calls from drivers when at red signals? I reinstalled sim and thought that had cleared problem. I got phone calls before any clients connected to panels, as soon as they took there panels there were no phone calls?? Is this a know issue or am I going crazy?? Could it be router issue?

Just to add to this that after the simulation was restarted I had to deal with a Track Circuit Failure so asked the host to PSAD+EXAM a train for me as part of the testing (debugging?) process and that train did phone in to report the track circuit as clear but no other trains at red signals phoned in.

Just tested release version and seems OK to me.

I'll check the latest update later.

Question for the clever people who do the programming of Simisg>>>> Could this be a router issue? I only get a problem when I'm hosting. However this fault is only when trains are at red signals, all other phone calls go to correct panels/clients?

Beyond me I'm afraid- I know how to build them but not how they work.

Oh and is it only EDB you have the problem with.

Problem now fixed and yes it was a router/firewall issue> Not sure how or why but after resetting/restarting/reinstalling all, i have tested with help of others and all is well. Thanks to all for help.

I don't see how it can be a router issue. Once the client is connected, everything goes over the same TCP link. A router or firewall might block the connection in the first place but isn't going to understand the SimSig protocol.

I think this may be something to do with the F11 options screen. If "Disable random failures" is checked the SPTs don't work. As soon as that was unchecked the trains started calling in as normal.

However, if I set a signal to be blank (turn off lamp proving) trains don't call in there. They still call in as normal at the signal in rear (held at red by the failure)
