If you click my little web address icon under my name on this post and other peoples posts it appends an extra http:// on to there web address that they have entered. probably not much of a bug but maybe people will need to edit and remove the extra http:// bit in there profile. maybe it happened as part of the migration from the old forum.

Will do a little bit of digging into this one but I'm wondering if it's a browser issue. I know that some browsers will append http:// to a lot of web addresses when entered but this only tends to be when entered without http:// (i.e: just www.examplewebaddress.com). Trying your web address link now, it doesn't work, but that seems to be because the colon is missing. Still, will look into this.

Digging done and only got 2 feet down before I found the problem. You need to ensure you enter the website address without the http:// for it to work properly. So, basically, just enter it as www.examplewebaddress.com instead of http://www.examplewebaddress.com/ and it should work absolutely fine without adding the extra http://

In-fact, when your mouse is over the text entry boxes it shows a sort of 'pop-up' and in that pop-up for the actual URL box it shows an example URL, which is just shown as www.kunena.org and not http://www.kunena.org/

Hope this helps.
