Path to one side (perfect for cycling along....), railway line other side (with knitting....)... Smacks of idiocy really. Should be grateful they've got a decent path to cycle along, a local off-road cycle path near me was in a terrible state last time I used it! Videos raises a few questions...for starters how did he get up there in the first place? Is there nothing at all there to stop trespassers?  Could easily see this guy being awarded a Darwin Award within the next few years!

Do we really need to 'promote' idiotic YouTube clips on the forum? Especially when they're in a language you can't understand. If you want to watch such stuff a YouTube search will satisfy your whims.

Quizman in the video this guy tells that he thought he could do this because he did not endanger anyone else but himself. (did he think about the possible injuries if he and his bicycle fell on the cycle path beneath or on a train??) And a spokesperson from Prorail (similar to Networkrail in UK) tells that it's very dangerous, that they will contact the police about this and that they will take measures to prevent people accessing the bridge like this. In fact they have now attached temporary fences to prevent access to the upper part of the bridge. Prorail will work on a permanent solution that should prevent access. This guy, and other people with a mindset like his are a big problem for railways all over the world. I question the role of the tv station. It's probably their camera's put on the bicyle. So they played a role in this guy deciding to make this illegal ride (what if something went wrong?). On the other hand the tv station showed that the bridge was too easily accessible, and now measures are being taken (if the tv station did not make this news item, how much more morons would have walked/cycled over the upper part?) It was in fact the TV-camera of the producer of an energy drink if I'm not mistaken. Apparently it isn't enough to make a normal commercial these days to get some attention.
