While controlling Westbury station area I routed the up Southampton Frieghtliner from Warminster through P3 to Bathampton. Signal 305 then cleared shunt signal 707 as a running dummy. 0X03 was waiting on the down Warminster for the road to the up yard. After 4V90 passed W707 and the signal returned to danger, 0X03 was then signalled from 699 to 707 while 4V90 stopped in P3 for a crew changed (blocking the points to the up rec). After 4V90 carried on the route remained set from 707 to the platform starter (no overlap). I tried to set the route from 707 to the end of the platform however "preset signal already working in preset mode" the signal would neither clear nor surrender the route. After SPADing the route unset. Probably not a bug however I found it interesting that a preset signal would remain preset even after the train had advanced through it. Log in to reply |

I never came across this either during editing and creation. Since completion i must have ran this TT in excess of 30 times and i've not experienced this scenario once!
