just a novel idea for the few semaphores on SimSig (grindleford, roxton sdgs etc).given there is a working banner repeater on derby surely a similar possibility is available to replace a colour light signal with a semaphore in the few places it applies.

just a thought

Even better, is it possible to simulate an electrically hauled train breakdown (say between P'boro & Grantham and due to OHLE failure) and rescue the train using suitable diesl loco's residing at strategic locations as in real life!

The rescued train could even be diverted up the Joint line vis Spalding!

Just an idea, don't know if its feasible or not.

We do have a semaphore symbol (distant and home) but they only have a restored "static" state. It is possible to colour them though but I've not tried.

It's possible to bring the wires down in the Sim (have done it for those who have found it) but train breakdowns are probably best done within the timetable as I did on a Kings Cross timetable (forget which one).

I thought its relevancy was due to the thread title, 'Features Wish List'? I'm obviously wrong and apologise if it is deemed to be under the wrong heading. Please feel free to relocate to a more appropriate thread.

Fireman Pat - This area of the forum is "Features Wish List", but the particular thread/topic had the title "Working Semaphores", which is why jc92 posted his question.
