Hi all, Apologies if something like this has already been covered but I couldn't find anything in a search. Does anyone know of any (preferably free) and easy to use software I could use to create Lever Frame style Signalbox Diagrams? Any help is much appreciated, Kit Log in to reply |

paint is good and has done me (and some semi proffesionals) well provided you know all the relevant symbols and drawing standards. i dont know of any software specifically aimed at SBDs. i remember there was one model railway layout design software set that had a function allowing SBDs to be drawn but it is payware. cant remember the name though

 this is the SBD for my model layout under construction. i havent finished this yet and there are some noticable errors but u can see that paint does the job more than suitably Post has attachments. Log in to view them. "We don't stop camborne wednesdays" Log in to reply |

IRSE (institute of railway signal engineers) would be able to help. i get most of the info from publications. also just studying existing box diagrams shows you how to present the information
