Hey chaps Am new to SigSim (I've seen a friend using it and couldn't resist getting it). I'm Jack by the way. Some may know me as PowerHaulJack, or even Javelin395 (yea, I'm the one who likes 70s btw). Just joined and ordered SigSim Stafford, but would appreciate some help. Firstly, I've just ordered SigSim Stafford, went through to PayPal and paid and what not, but what happens now? Do I wait for it to come in the post? Or do I download it from some magical place? Secondly, is it a simple 'Click signal a and then b and the route is set'? Or is it more magical and exciting? My mate got Stafford and he thinks its AMAZING. Thanks all! Appreciate your help. hi jack welcome to SimSig, i suppose someone has to like 70s :P to download any sim FOR FREE go to the downloads section, accessed on the downloads/uploads tab on the main menu. first download the system files in official software. these are nessesary to play any game. after these are installed, go back into official software and then into simulations. all of these can be downloaded and played as and when you want. also now your a registered user you can also download the simulations for registered users and the sims in the beta stage of production good luck "We don't stop camborne wednesdays" Log in to reply The following user said thank you: PowerHaulJack |

First, welcome. Second, you don't actually order and pay for Sims, they are freely available and you then can make an optional donation. So wrong way round but never mind- thanks. You can tell I'm a newbie to the stuff. Hope my £5 is well used in upgrading Stafford  ahaha. Thanks for your help guys.Thanks for the link to the Stafford download. The Southern ones were 71, 73 and 74 I recall, then it was 76 on the Woodhead (and 77 CoCo?) before we got to the 81-87 series. Theyre the new locos that Freightliner use on their Heavy Haul and Intermodal trains. Often found on the Portbury/Stoke Gifford - Rugeley Power Station and also on the containers from Trafford Park F.L.T to Millbrook F.L.T and Felixstowe Docks. 3700 HP. Welcome to Simsig Jack. Im sure you'll learn the ins and outs of Simsig by playing it not just on your own, but also on multiplayer sessions hosted by myself and several other people. Theres no timetable for these sessions. Sometimes theres no session going on, but sometimes there are multiple sessions. Multiplayer is a good way to learn about Simsig (and also signalling in general). "Signalman Exeter" Log in to reply |

I must admit I am taking a liking to the Class 70 now, not the looks but for the parts 'under the hood' At least the GE engine doesnt do ying ying and has a bit of bass to it when under power! Log in to reply |
