If it's a full tube challenge then either start at Amersham or Epping.

Have a look at LU Record Attempt, from Clive's website pages.
I can only help one person a day. Today's not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look too good either.

What are you seeking to do?

If you're looking to visit all tube stations in one day then bear in mind if you're doing it on a weekday then a Day Anytime travelcard (or the Peak Price Cap on Oyster) is £18.60 - same price for both, but if you're doing it on a weekend (basically Saturday) then it is £11.00 on both Oyster or with a paper ticket. If you add that to the price of any supplies you may need (food, drink, etc) and further add price of any train tickets to/from London then...well....you may be looking at a high price.

Or are you seeking to do a tube race from say one station with plenty of travel choices to another station with plenty of travel choices?

Any views and / or opinions expressed by myself are from me personally and do not represent those of any company I either work for or am a consultant for.

It's not possible at the weekend- also is it technically possible while Blackfriars is closed?

In the past there have been different records for different station openings and closures (eg: with/without the old East London Line, before/after Heathrow T5, etc). However, the act of passing through a station counts towards your total station tally, so I assume there is no separate record.

The reason I ask is because according to the site that I was looking at the rule was "It is necessary for a through train to stop at the station for the visit to count, although you do not need to get out. Mind you some trains stop regardless at closed stations but just don't open the door (Victoria line for instance for reprogramming).

And funnily enough, I'm the man who started it in 2005. :)

I never thought we'd get a mention on Simsig.
