I'd like to add a new page to the Wiki as a subtopic of another topic. Adding what I wish to add to an existing page would overload that page - it would be better to start a new page, linked to the primary topic. But I can't find a "New Page" or "Create Page" button. How does one do this? Thanks.

From memory you type the link code in an existing page and then it says there is no such page would you like to create one. Or at least that's how I do it. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |

Thanks Peter for your quick reply but I don't understand what you mean by link code. A dummy link code? Sounds like a bit of a kludge. Surely there must be an easier way. Would you mind posting an example of what you mean? (added) I got as far as here then became kinda stuck! :silly:

If the main/existing page is called Alpha and you want to add a subpage called Beta: 1. Edit page Alpha and add a link to Beta by typing [[Beta]]. Don't use the link wizard.2. Save the page. The Beta link will come up red. 3. Click on the Beta link. It will say "This page does not exist" 4. Click on the "Create this page" 5. Edit the page as normal and save. Slightly different problem: How do I add an extra term to the Glossary, since this seems to use a Javascript navbar and the only code it contains is Quote: {{indexmenu>glossary|js navbar}}Each new term gets a different page. These pages have always perplexed me as to where they came from and why. Anyway a bit of intuition and if you right click on glossary you get an several options including creation of a new page. Thanks Peter, exactly what I needed. R-click on the folder icon named Glossary on the Glossary page, and the following drop-down menu will appear:
