Royston 2.5 - changes made? 27/11/2011 at 11:02 #23755

First of all, many thanks Clive for finding time to upgrade Royston v2.201 to v2.5.

I was wondering what changes were made to the older version but have been unable to locate a history of revisions (changelog), etc. The manual appears unchanged since 2009. It may be that Clive's time has been taken up with working on the documentation for the brand new sims. I'm sure the updated documentation for Royston will appear in time.

So far the only visible change seems to be a new logo (I think, I deleted the earlier version) and the splash screen. Is this info somewhere I've overlooked? Thanks in advance.

It appears that the only changes have been adding the latest generic features- F8, F11 and the like, as opposed to changing anything in the actual simulation.

I fixed a couple of very small bugs, one of which you (Max) spotted and the other of which would only affect multiplayer games. I then rebuilt with the latest core code, so all the features that have been added in the last N years are there - that was the main reason for the refresh release. That's all.

(Drain got refreshed for the same reason; there's been no changes at all to the game itself.)
