Had 1F60 enter at 08:52. Routed to booked Platform 9 to double-dock with 2H441. At the time, 2H441 was interposed at Signal 53's TD berth yet when 1F60 had passed Signal 5 it's headcode ("train description"replaced 2H441's TD. Normally in other simulations if you double-dock in a terminus platform the first headcode will 'step back' to the buffer-end TD berth but in this case it didn't. I do realise that in this case it may be different (perhaps as per real life) but then I do wonder if this is right or not, so just questioning this in-case it is a minor bug.

Unless things have changed since 2002 there are no describers of the kind we're familiar with - see the pictures here http://www.wbsframe.mste.co.uk/public/Liverpool_Lime_Street.html showing the L frame. There may, of course, be a more comprehensive describer using the video monitor at the RH end of the frame, otherwise it looks to me as if there's just a "next approaching" display (not sure whether it clears out automatically or not) and a set up/transmit unit to Edge Hill, with the signalman having to remember/write down what's where in the station a l'ancienne!

This may be connected to the TD problem raised by UKTM, but in the case of splitting trains I've tried waiting until dividing is finished and then interposing the TD for the first departure directly over the one shown. When that departs, I then interpose the second departure's TD at the bufferstop end. Probably a long-winded way of working, but it's worked ok so far, it just means keeping a check of the 'running order either by using F2 or F8. Hope I've put that over ok.
Mal.

In most panels that I have seen the arriving TD goes straight to the stops berth and allows the signaller to interpose the departing TD before the train has physically arrived, with regards to trains called on that would depend on the individal panel having a queue berth for departures. This may not be 100% accurate but it's as I understand it

As KBarber says, there is no train describer built in to the current miniature lever frame at Liverpool Lime Street. The probably have a separate system, but I do not know what actual berths they have there, so what is in the sim is an approximation. I do know they need some work, but what currently is there will do for now.
