Does anyone know if diagrams of the current/recent speed limits are available anywhere? Either online or in a publication? Any help would be much appreciated.

You can get sectional appenicies for the area you want. They are available from Willsons: http://www.willsonshop.com/subcategory.asp?sid=5

Try Network Rail website and search for "Baseline capability" then wade through the results the SA's were available there at one time.

You can find them here. As a word of warning, the smallest document is over 80Mb and the largest not far short of 250Mb so it takes a long time to open them online or download them for later reference. The information is noted as correct as at 1st. April 2009 so there may have been some changes since.
