38 VHS videos need a good home 28/12/2011 at 13:35 #26333

I have 38 VHS videos that I've extracted from my loft for which I have no use (or, more to the point, I have no VHS player). They're all rail related, mostly cab rides, mostly UK but some US and elsewhere. I can't vouch for whether they still work but see no reason why they shouldn't. I think they are all PAL format. As-new they probably add up to over £600; all I want is to cover the cost of postage (£16) and some beer money. Highest bidder wins, please indicate on this thread how much, closes 31st December 2011, delivery within a week or two. Sorry, will not split.

Add Railscene No.7 and Video 125's Flying Scotsman #1 (London to York), both without cases. As long as somebody bids at least £16 then they will get these videos! I hate to throw them away.

I wouldn't mind them as I still use a VHS but don't really want play ebay to get them although I'd be happy to pay 20 for them.

No eBay involved.

Moving house, trying to minimise stuff to take. I'm keeping a handful of similar DVDs though.

I wasn't talking about actually using ebay, more that I don't want to get involved in a long bidding war like you can often see on ebay. As I say though, happy to pay 20 for them.

Ah ok, well it's only 3 days and I doubt there'll be last minute panic bidding.

I see no further updates on this thread, has there been some kind of delay to the sale going ahead giving chance for those who've been away over the recent holiday a chance?
