Finally got around to downloading and enjoying South Humberside - I was honoured to be shown some of the early work, but I didn't quite know what to expect from the finished product, knowing some of the area's signalling rather well. As I say though, I've found it thoroughly enjoyable thus far, and an excellent representation of the area. Just a couple of issues that I've come across though (which I don't think have been raised elsewhere) which I offer for discussion: 1. Signal M4 - should this have stopping/non-stopping controls for the adjacent AHB? 2. Absolute Block sections beyond Wrawby (towards Holton) and Stow Park - obviously in reality these aren't track-circuited throughout, but given that they're represented here (quite sensibly) as TCB sections, shouldn't track circuit indications be provided at least as far as the overlap of the next signal in advance? Think that's it for now (always a good sign when it's the little details that are getting picked up!). Congratulations Chris on the realistic simulation of the 'aspect sequences' through the semaphore signalled areas, and also more particularly through Barnetby on the Down Main! Tom Log in to reply |

Tom, 1. Yes, I believe there is. However, its not been included in the sim in the released version. 2. This is one of the parts of the sim where I had to use artistic license. Log in to reply |
