5m19 hornsey - cricklewood GBRF cl.319? what have i missed with regards to FCC operating these?
'Stock move', probably to make use of the wheel lathe at Hornsey EMU Depot. Lost count of the amount of times I've seen a 319 sitting there.

On a related note though, I've often wondered about a Finsbury Park to Dalston Kingsland shuttle whilst on Cross. B)
Project X team
so to clarify GBRF operate these movements (ie TT is correct?)

Yes GBRF operate the movements, it's easier to train them on the traction and for them to maintain traction knowledge. Than it is to train FCC drivers on the route, and for them to maintain route knowledge.

A good question! I have never observed such a manoeuvre so wouldn't know the arrangements for it. Would assume it involves some form of locomotive haulage as it'll probably go via Carlton Road Jn, Tottenham North Curve, Junction Road Jn, then Harringay Park Jn - meaning it has got to be loco hauled since the electric power is lacking beyond Carlton Road Jn and just beyond Harringay Park Jn.

5M19 still runs today, and without being loco hauled!

Hornsey Depot, up to Belle Isle, round to Camden Road, through Willesden Junction High Level, to North Pole Jn where the pantograph is dropped and the shoes enabled, along the West London Line through Kensington Olympia, through the complex of junctions near Wandsworth Road (Longhenge, Factory, etc) and round the spur to Loughborough Junction (not the station), passing though City Thameslink/Farringdon (the pan is raised at one of these stations), then North through St Pancras, Kentish Town and then finally to Cricklewood Depot.

So, North London to North London via South London and the World, then?

Seriously though, thanks for posting that.

No worries

And it makes a bit more sense why GBRF operate it, as it would be quite hard to get and keep FCC drivers route knowledge over some of that...

RE: NLL Project X
I've been working out the pathing for a possible fictional Olympic TT (is going to be quite intensive). There isn't space for a finners - dalston, annoying the NLL is short of places to reverse trains without shunts and short ECS movements...

Don't know if it has been mentioned before, but is there a Way to get 0R89-1 (Loco-RR 4R89 at Temple Mills Rev Line) out of the Yard?

F2 says "Waiting at Red Signal Z375" and after allowing it to Pass the Signal at Danger there is still no move.

I've had a different problem with that train. After dividing there was some kind of error I cannot remember now, which resulted in the locomotive disappearing altogether. Luckily Tempe Mills is an entry point as well, so at least I could get it back into the sim by duplicating it's timetable and adding an entrance location.

Hello,

And once again I've made a mess of things. 5o05 has appeared in Stratford LL (can't quite remember which train formed it...). It wants to get to the reverse at Statford East, and then run back into the other platform. It then wants to form 2o05 with a departure time of 16.59.

This would all be well and fine, but it's 10.14am.

Could someone try and discover what I did wrong??

Hi Noel first of all appreciate the tt.
Noel regarding 4L60 & 4L81,I take it 4L60 is not a top and tail formation,so I think you are right in the tt for detatching the loco from the front (DF)What I done was edit the tt for 0L81 and added Temple East Jn dep 0135,Stratford HL plat 12, 0138-0142,Temple East Jn 01/47 not sure if this the correct routing for 0L81 but it works. The only snag was 5H90 was held up slightly,so 0L81 might need retiming.
Regards
Mick

Noel. just looking at your 2009 tt for NLL scrolly. Curious about 1 thing. I currently have 4M42 2202 Felixstowe FLT - Garston FLT heading towads Camden Jn. Now looking on 'F2' for this train it says "Freightliner Cl.66/5+24 Flats, 514m, 1289t." Yet the train length in 'F2' shows it as 400m. Is there any reason why the length of the train in 'Train Types' doesn't match the actual length of the train in reality or off the TRUST report? As you seen to have gone to some length in ascertaining the actual length & tonnage of the trains for this tt which by the way in my opinion is a good thing & would be better still if the train length itself was the same.

7L29 has a destination of "Purley" but seeing as it runs through to Barking I am guessing that should be "Purfleet"
I'm more intrigued by 2U05, the 0535 D-stock from Elephant & Castle to Richmond...

The TT source says "ELCT", which someone (Noel ) has interpreted as Elephant & Castle. I suspect that Earl's Court is more likely

Not seen this mentioned yet - 3S25 doesn't seem to have any valid fully-signalled route at South Tottenham (Seven Sisters - S Tott. - Seven Sisters). Neither ST 43, 44 or 46 are valid routes from ST16, so it can't go in the Up platform, whilst putting it in the Down platform leaves it with no signal to return to Seven Sisters.

Same for 3S47 and ST13.

I think the reverse location needs to be changed to ST45. Departure from there is via ST42 on the Down.

Overall it seems a good timetable.

I've tried this TT on the paged version as well. Many trains don't appear but the sim does not complain (analyzing the TT shows "invalid timetable data" for unknown locations). As 9N12 does not enter, a lot of the passenger services are gone.
It's clear that scrolly is what you need to run this TT but this is not in the description. As the paged sim does not show an error when loading the TT, I would add a message to the TT description that you need scrolly to use it.

1Q84 (2), 6O78 (3), 6O91 (2, different times) and 7V59 (2) are all entered multiple times in the TT. Also, 4R98 throws a wobbly at Temple Mills when it detatches 0R98-1 and immediately tries to recouple to 0R98-1, chucking out an error and magically deleting 0R98-1 from the sim.

@ Haraubrad: I think it's a bug in the sim itself. Other trains also complain there.

Hi folks, just a quick problem I'm having that I can't get to the bottom of.

I've got the scrolly NLL sim open, and I'm trying to export the TT to TXT using convdata. The trouble is that, try as I might, I can't get it to work - the program gives me the message, "Convdata terminated with exit code 1633972". If I try to export with rules I get code "1633564", but it's more or less the same thing.

I tried running convdata on a different sim (South Humberside), just to make sure it wasn't me, and it worked fine.

So what's happening with this sim that's preventing a conversion?

Thanks.
