Hi,

On the upload file page, what do 'Autogenerate short desc', 'License', 'Must Agree to License' and 'File home page' mean?

I'm not sure about "Autogenereate Short Desc" does, but at a total guess then if the upload was a text file (e.g.: .txt or .doc) then it may take the first 150 characters from it to go in there.

The "License" text box is space for you to put any pertinent license information in, such as if you're releasing it under a Creative Commons License. The "Must Agree to License" tick box should force those downloading the file to agree to the license first.

The "File HomePage" text field is probably be meant for a URL (web address) relevant to the file, perhaps a link to a relevant forum thread or a specific page on your website (if you have or had one).

Any views and / or opinions expressed by myself are from me personally and do not represent those of any company I either work for or am a consultant for.

Seems a good enough explanation! I've nothing more to add.
