I'm trying to gauge the potential usage if this website had smartphone specific features added, like automatic notification of multiplayer games. Please select the device you use the most. Please don't vote if you don't have such a device and have no intention of getting one in the near future. Thanks.

I have a BlackBerry for my personal use, and an iPhone for work (don't know why Network Rail thinks these are suitable, but I don't write their policy!).

Don't really get on with the latter so never use it to browse the internet (keyboard on screen is a pain) and only thing I ever use the BlackBerry internet for is to read the news.

Notification of multiplayer games would be good, although this could be achieved by email too - although there have been a distinct lack of them lately in any case.

Thought the idea was that people voted in the Poll at the top of the topic rather than entering individual postings.

Depending on the age, as I understand it that's either the retiring Symbian or the Windows Phone for the last year or two.

If you really want, you can add the following:
S40 (Java)
S60
Windows Mobile <=6.5

But I think a Facebook group is already enough as most smartphones have Facebook app already if you want cross-platform compatibility.

Having got my work iPhone last week to replace the Blackberry for work use, the iPhone is far superior. The Blackberry crashed at critical times (when trying to hand back equipment!) locked itself randomly when I was in the middle of using it, and the buttons are unsuitable for use "on the ground." The iphone seems to be a major improvement and with the right apps will be a valuable tool.
