Hello all. I have been playing the 1985 timetable and it's great fun and a real challenge with all the loco run-rounds / changes etc but I seem to have a couple of problems. Firstly the Okehampton / Meldon Quarry branch is OTW however the timetable shows 6B40 following 7B27 into section. How is this possible? Secondly 6B39 / 8B39 / 0B39: I had 2 6B39 trains enter the area from Bridgewater (!!) and the first of these was routed into the Taunton Goods Reception but after a while there was no sign of 0B39. In the meantime the following 6B39 was delaying expresses behind as I wasn't confident to route that particular train onto the Taunton Relief Line in case it trapped any LE movements. Hi Steve In regards to 6B40/7B27 , looking at the WTT ,7B27 was booked to run Mondays only ,where as 6B40 was booked to run Tuesday to Friday.So really you shouldn't have both.But its still possible to run both,just hold 6B40 until 7B27 has arrived at Oakhapton/Meldon. In regards to 6B39 I see that there is an alternative 6B39 that can run (6B391 & 6B393). There is a rule to prevent both from entering at the same time but since Exeter was updated I have noticed (from testing my own Saturday timetable)that trains could enter twice even with a rule. I have got round this by adding 1/2 min to one of the two trains. There are rules concerning 0B39 so this may be why it was delayed. Simon Log in to reply |
