Stupid question time. Sorry about this. When I run Simsig on my old Laptop at 1280x1024 the whole simulation fits on the screen so I don't have to move the side bar up and down, but when I run Simsig on my new Laptop at 1366x768 the vertical veiw reduced and I must use the side bar to see the whole sim. Any way I can make my new Laptop show the full view on the screen all the time?

Some laptops have a magnify setting but to be honest its not a good idea to use it, it becomes problematic to click on the signals.
Your laptop has had its height reduced from 1024 to 768 and I know some sims fit on this size but many will not meaning you will have to scroll up and down.

If the height is almost fit, you can try expanding the window at the top.

SimSig doesn't support scaling the display. If you want to scale the display you can try increasing the resolution a bit. Of course if you do that the scale will be strange.

About 1024x768 - that's for paged sims. He says he has a scrollbar so he's likely using a scrolly sim.

Look at the specs for your new laptop - it might not be able to show any higher resolution than 1366x768. This is especially the case with netbooks.

Some display drivers will keep the correct DPI when screen resolution changes, such that the portion displayed on the LCD panel moves according to your cursor, especially for notebooks.

(Hi Alvin.) Thanks everyone for advice. Using Kings Cross and North London. Still working on the problem, but was fun playing Simsig at 40,00 feet regardless of the screen. In Hong Kong with Typhoon 8 warnings. Lucky me. Next stop Singapore and Sri Lanka.
