DCC Realism

What I am looking to achieve is Tail lights on the VITrains Class 37 to beable to be on both ends of the locomotive. Currently its Pre fitted Directional Lighting so Tail - Head. Head - Tail. But I want Tail - Tail.

I Have started a Topic on my Blog As far as we have got thank you to AY76 (Youtube user)

Between us we found in Model Rail Issue 147 september 2010, pages 46,47,48,49. Was a DCC Improvements for the Class 50 which maybe used for what I want However I am now in Search of them pages and dont really want to pay for the issue as I have looked around and its hard to find. So I am after someone who can be very very kind and has or nows a friend who might have this if it can be scanned into and sent in an email.

The blog post

Any help Would be much Welcomed images at the blog site. Any helpers I will credit on the blog.

Thank you for taking your time to read this post

i know from experience that Olivias will do this for you. my class 58 has optional tail lighting

F0 illuminates the suitable headlamp as normal

F5 illumanites front tail lamps
F6 illuminates rear tail lamps

so its possible to have both on or neither. only drawback is having to have it sound fitted by them (what a shame)

Yes, it is douable with a 4 function chip. We done it whilst replacing all the lights with LED's. Quite simpily leave the headlights as directional, this will allow them to be either off or on in the direction of travel. The tail lights need splitting into two seperate circuits, one for each end, with each one going to a different function.

That is what i am aiming For as my F3 is used for Shunting speed restriction as its bachmann and F0 is directional lighting I would like to do it myself

Now I now Red wires are Tail lamps and Blue is Head I am guessing the two blanks on the right are different functions

I not sure how many functions this deecoder has It came with a steam Loco i broke so i moved the decoder into this loco

Found this which is the Decoder function sheet http://www.bachmann.co.uk/pdfs/3-function_decoder.pdf At the moment only F0 and F3 are in use
