Saltley has now gone completely Stephen, nowt left at all. That said your eother too modest or there's a chap on facebook who posts nice pictures on 'The Official Peak Locomotive Appreciation Group' & goes by the name of Steve Fulcher. That wouldn't be you would it?

I remember once being short of power at Immingham & I sent this loco to Baglan Bay in South Wales, much to mthe annoyance of Immingham Depot. The phone was buzzing that morning with Mr. Spreckley complaining that this loco had been sent to the opposite end of the country. In response I told him he could carry the can next time we were short of power at Immingham to cover the turns of duty which resulted in a train being cancelled. He couldn't say anything after that. Usually we tried to keep it on the local MGR workings between Immingham & Scunthorpe.
