just watching a bit of Oh Dr beeching on DVD. its occured to me there isnt yet a "train X delayed due to a Turkey wandering onto the line". especially relevant at this time of year

Train delayed due to the late arrival of my late husband - he was an engine driver, you know.

I saw that in reality too - had a MOM, the P-Way and an RSPCA Inspector running round for half an hour until the offending Swan was apprehended.
