As a general point and In order to save lots of wasted time by developers and testers, it would be very much appreciated if people reporting problems and expecting help would also respond to the questions and suggestions posed in answer to their initial report. In particular, it would help in this case if you could actually explain whether the station pilot shunt move had really disappeared and how you resolved things. I'm sorry for being a bit cranky, but I have spent about 10 hours in the past fortnight following up bugs reported on the Forum for which there is no other supporting evidence and no feedback from the original poster after the original posting. I think it was attributed to the move being out of sequence. I've found that "Set current/next location" usually sorts the problem out.

I'm still convinced there's 5% of trains still missing from the timetable & unless we get the proper info for them what you've got now is about as good as it is going to get.You should be immensely proud of your TTs Pascal, they are fantastic. Although I am planning more in the pipeline depending if certain things are released; having only written one TT myself which is from the modern era (due to what material I can source) with more or less no freight I can only have lots of admiration for you and all your testers on how much work has gone into to it to make it run so smoothly. I've been collecting WTTs Trip Notices, freight train loads books, Sectional Appendixes etc etc for the very purpose of writing timetables for sims like this & also assisting developers with their need for material dating back years which today is harder to find. When I think about all the stuff I threw out before I started collecting it & what other people have thrown out across my time on the railways send a shiver down my spine. Hind-sight is a brilliant thing if you can see into the future. I wish you all the luck in the world in your quest to produce timetables. As for Carlisle 79-80 timetable, this was done because I own an Arrival & Departure book which was originally issued to Mr. W.J. Taylor, whom Tom told me he created the Carlisle sim in his memory as he was the signaler on 'Centre' panel the nigh the freightliner ran away on the Goods Lines & were it not for his actions the subsequent derailment would have been far worse in the sense of the damage it created. Also in this book I've got are all the Penmanshield diversions written in biro obviously by him, so they too were added. As for this timetable all I can say is that famous old quote that this timetable was always there once Tom had created this superb sim, I along with a few other just chipped away at the rough edges. In view of your issue with freight & creating timetables Joe(jc92) has created an Excel document & I have added locos, DMUs(1st & 2nd generation), EMUs(AC & DC), Track Machines, coaching stock(incl. Non Passenger Carrying Coaching Stocking) & freight wagons(air & vacuum), plus an SLU chart which shows SLUs & metres. So all you will need to do is enter the number of the type of loco used to pull the train e.g. '1' & then the number of wagons or coaches of any of the types in the list & it will automatically calculate the total length of the train & also the maximum speed of the train. So there won't be any excuse for timetable writers to have the wrong train lengths, which is something I find tends to spoil alot of the timetables people have created. Especially when you consider they go to alot of trouble working out the right stock or wagons on a service, but then get the length wrong. I've suggested to Joe that when it is complete & that should be any time soon, when he re-appears after the festive break to upload it to the 'downloads' section for anyone to download.
