BBC News item

Appears to be WCR (West Coast Railways) operated.

I can only help one person a day. Today's not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look too good either.

Various links have been posted (lots relating to the ITV News site), and there's a clip somewhere.

But this one is a little bit lof a different angle

Second major de-railment this week after Castle Donnington on Monday evening (although no fire)...

I can't understand what they're saying. Is that normal in Manchester?

Thought you got the chance to see Coronation Street (we have to fight back against Neighbours and Home and Away somehow).

Update: 47854 (the front loco) removed the coaches at about 23:30 Wednesday night. Cranes were brought in yesterday from Wigan and Bescot, and 47500 was re-railed onto the Up Bolton. It was then pushed into Liverpool Road Siding (the NR end of the Museum of Science & Industry link), and the line re-opened about an hour ago.
