I was just wondering if there are any plans to update the KX and Cambrigde sims to include changes made in real life
IE:

KX -- the addition of P0 and the Hitchen flyover
Cambridge -- the new island platform
as well as any other changes made to layouts

Bit hard to add something that isn't even complete yet!

Also, I'd go with the answer probably being "no" in both cases.

Normally that would be right... but in this case scheme plans exist and those two things are relatively minor fixes.

I also noticed some plans to turn the Up Goods from Bounds Green to Holloway North into passenger standards, with realignment of the platforms at Alexandra Palace (maybe Hornsey too - I forget), changing some crossovers between the UG and US too. That is a bit more involved and I don't know whether that's still a proposal or an idea that will become reality. Anybody know?

The new/upgraded line is in place and Alexandra Palace has had a new platform for a while. FP platform is a mass of rubble. I think they are also re-instating the old [Coronation?] Carriage sidings for the extended depot for the TL trains as part of/a parallel project - plenty of activity going on.

New earthworks have begun in the Belle Isle area (just outside King's Cross). I can only presume these are in relation to joining us (GN) up with the Thameslink route. They are digging the embankment that separates the main from a tunnel created when HS1 was being built.

Also a lot of track and signalling works have been taking place in the Langley Junction area.

Adding this to the flyover and the Finsbury Park works, I don't think I can recall this much work taking place since the route was electrified.

Thanks very much for that link. It confirms my suspicions and also gives a timescale of when the works will be carried out.
