Hi.

I hear steam loco 70000 Britannia derailed at Nene Valley this weekend. Does anyone know what happened and is it fit to run on a tour from Hellifield this Saturday

seems the NVR has altered its policy from derailing deltics to derailing kettles instead

I did see that but it not really answer my question.

I guess it will be investigated why it happened and presume a fit to run exam will need to be done before Friday

That's good to know! She is one of the visiting locos on the Bluebell rly on 23 March, celebrating the opening of the long-awaited extension to East Grinstead. :woohoo:

If it does do its loco movement on Friday (Times) then I will see it while I am at Keighley as it it also the Keighley Worth Valley Winter Gala
