Well there's St Andrews panel on Bristol, not very busy, but you could write a fictional TT and have lots of fun.

Nothing else comes to mind, the freight yards usually just seem to be an entry and an exit point in my experience.

I haven't played every sim though...

Remember there is a long standing bug on Bristol which prevents the loading roads from working at Avonmouth.

Doesn't necessarily need a freight yard to define a shunting TT. Just look at Kings Cross with all the loco changes in the early timetables (e.g 55 Steam, 77 and 85.) That keeps you on your toes!

Or all of the trips round the Carlisle area that Pascal (58050) has put into the 1979-1980 TT (including lots of action around Kingmoor Yard).

Yes I should have pointed that out, as that bug is really very annoying.

Sheffield 1983/84 timetable which I wrote with the help of Meld has alot of freight activity & not just in one place either. You have Tinsley yard & the associated trips working to & from there, but also the freight traffic & associated shunt moves at Barrow Hill, Earles Sdgs, Beighton Depot.Woodhouse Jn Sdgs & the various colliery branches to Oxcroft & Seymour Collieries, Renishaw Park Colliery & Orgreaves Coking plant as well as trips up the Deepcar branch on screen 6 which also has Tinsley Yard & Brighton Depot on the same screen. I would say Carlisle 79-80 is probably the busiest, followed by Sheffield 83/84 & Saltley 95/96. If & when Trent 1980s era ever gets released then the timetables I intend to write for that which will either be 1982/3, 1985 & 1987/88 will out-strip any of those listed above. The Edinburgh 1985 tt with the ballast trips add-ons included also provides a large amount of freight traffic as well. The main difference with Carlisle & any 1980s Trent timetables are the large number of trips operated by shunt locos. I would say Carlisle 79-80 at present leads the charge there with approx. 6 Trip workings from Kingmoor marshalling yard being worked by Cl.08 shunt locos & that doesn't include the 2 station pilots at Citadel or the depot pilots at Kingmoor Depot & Upperby Carriage Sdgs which have there own duties to perform. If you are thinking of writing a timetable with shunt loco trips in it, you will need the relevant 'Trip Notice' for the area you are thinking of covering as these trains do not appear in WTTs.

Euston above main lines has 4 backing out roads, 2 shunt necks, 3 depot entry points, a goods arrival line and a departure line from P1 to P6!! there is also 4 sidings in the station between P14 to P18.

That maybe true in the sense that there is alot of shunting in the Euston 1980/81 tt written by Joe(jc92), but very little in the way of freight shunting compared to the likes of Sheffield 83/84 & Carlisle 1979-1980 timetables which also have alot of passenger stock & NPCCS shunting as well as freight. Really depends on what Josh is really looking for. There's no doubt that the modern era timetables don't have as much shunting as the more heritage timetables(heritage being up to 1996/97).
