Platform 4 at Man Picc. How to split a 4 car unit into 2x2: Driver gets into the rear cab of the 1st 2 car unit (the cab at the opposite end of the stop-blocks, in the middle of the 4 car train). The driver then propels the 1st unit and splits from the 2nd unit. The unit then hits the stop-blocks and pushes them 3.5 feet towards the passenger concourse! Platform 4 can hold a 9 car Pendo or more. Nice! Log in to reply |

I can't remember if there's a hard and fast rule but when splitting sets at Paddington we always used to split Turbos from the Country end set. Looks as though he forgot to do something by the sound of it.
