Also a photo of the box shows said block switch smack bang in the middle of the block shelf.

It was temporary for a set of diversions due to engineering works (assuming you mean the current box)

Correct, following the 1967 resignalling the up line of the double track to Sherborne became the extension of the single line with the down out of use.

Hmm... I make it 68 that contain the string "Hill" and 77 that contain "Park". Or 76 Park / 37 Hill when the word is on its own.
