I note on the northern half of the Robin Hood Line, a number of CCTV cameras mounted on posts which could also be used to mount signals. One of them, pointing south at Shirebrook East Jn, also has a white floodlight accompanying it. They are of a different design to those on the southern half of the route which I think are used for trespass deterrence. I suspect these ones could be for the purposes of train location or rear-red light detection in an AB area, any other suggestions?
