Issues With "Validate" Button While Creating / Saving New TT 05/02/2014 at 17:12 #55057

Hi everyone,

I'm currently creating a new timetable for Victoria Central via F4 method. After I've entered the train details and timing points etc I click on the Validate button to get all of the extra Line codes and passing points for ARS, however once I've saved the timetable (via Save As) and reload it the timetable that shows is how it was before pressing the Validate button ie without the extra lines codes.

Any ideas how to get these to save as I'm guessing without them ARS won't work on the TT

Gareth

"Save" will only save the manually entered codes. The ones it auto-inserts in order to validate are exactly the same as ARS auto-inserts when a train appears. You're not doing anything wrong.

It doesn't save the auto-inserts so that any amendments later aren't affected - for example, if a bug auto-inserted the wrong code, you wouldn't want that wrong insert being saved. Instead, an updated sim would insert the corrected code in its place.
