268 posts 		Yesterday over this hour I was downloading old NLL file, antiviruse put it as risk file locking download.
After several times making it, receive SimSig message as You cannot download file because .... is reach.
........
Today does few minutes I proved new download getting same error message than doesn't let download it.
Any moderator can help me or if is locked my account by that download and is possible to unlock it, to make it. Thanks.

Note. Rest SimSig simulations if can download them okey, but old NLL continues locked its download.

Firstly remember that there are limits on the number of downloads that you can make in any twenty four hours from the Sim Sig site.
Having said that it does sound to me that your problem is that the Anti Virus setting in your computer maybe the cause of the problem. As an example I use Norton and got a similar message when I tried to download the Motherwell sim this week. Norton will define it as a possible problem and may contain a virus risk until it has been downloaded by several users.
Try looking at your Anti virus settings and adjust so that it gives you a warning but will let you download.

268 posts 		Thanks Geoff to send answer. Part or your answer is certain. Though antiviruse Avast free locked download the first time, I put download link as exception from Avast.
Today, by morning went to nearly cyber proving download and received same message error on download. The note was added from cyber, because if could download other 2 different simulations correctly. I shall wait to night make well NLL download.

End note. How you put Geoff, NLL lock was problem of SimSig by many oersonal intents of file download. Does short time was unlocked its download correctly.

Glad we sorted part of the problem and let's see if tonights attempt fully sorts the problem. I have just looked at the downloads section and you are limited to 5 downloads in any 24 hours for NLL sim.

268 posts 		Geoff, is antiviruse program Avast than locks NLL download, having file as risk file. I put it exception to download link, but continues bein locked. Tomorrow shall prove download it from any cyber.

68 posts 		I used to have Avast and had a similar problem with Drain some time ago. I *think* this should work:

1. Turn off "File System Shield" during download and installation.
2. Add NLL.exe to an exclusion list (File System Shield) before running it. (see here)
3. Now open NLL, it should work now.

870 posts 		Carlos, sorry I do not have any experience with avast so cannot help with instructions for you to overcome the problem. It certainly does appear to be the problem though and not a sim sig download problem.

268 posts 		Thanks miki by your suggestions. Certainly Geoff, isn't problem from SimSig download section, is antiviruse Avast than takes NLL.exe as risk file and locks its download. How put miki, disable Avast is best form to download and install the file correctly.

I have the NLL.exe executable on secundary folder, then have to create a NLL folder inside that folder putting any images jpg and timetable then NLL.exe recognizes timetable and is possible to play it, but making it on that special form...
Avast deleted it as risk file and had to put it as exception for antiviruse, recovering file to launch the sim. I want installation file to have it correctly installed. NLL was the first SimSig sim than I played those years.

268 posts 		This night could download and install NLL files correctly, disabling Avast antiviruse. Though had to make several times until than Avast put well installation and NLL.exe as exception and unlocking fully. Resuming details, PROBLEM FIXED!!!...
