I seem to have knocked out the ARS at Cove by cancelling the signal, is there any way to restore this?

As a temporary workaround, you can edit the save file.
Load the SSG file into the zip program of your choice (like 7-Zip, WinRAR etc.) and open the SavedSimulation.xml file contained within.

Search for <TARS ID="ACO"> and edit the section to look like this:
<TARS ID="ACO">
<Visible>False</Visible>
<KeyLatch>True</KeyLatch>
<ProcessorLatch>True</ProcessorLatch>
<StatusLatch>True</StatusLatch>
</TARS>

If you're wondering whether editing the Visible setting helps, no, I've tried it and it doesn't, so you'll have to wait until an updated version gets released.

Sorry, for reasons that escape me the button is on line 61 with the visible view only down to around line 45. Suspect it must have been moved en-bloc with the crossing debug data.

I'll let thing settle a week or so longer before re-releasing and see what else arises.

Whilst Peter is sorting out a fix, all you need to do meantime is put the signals in Semi-automatic mode. Same result as having ARS.

Out of interest, I tried loading the SSG file into Winrar, and the only file in the archive is the SSG file itself. I can't see the XML file that you say should be there.

Tried it in 7-zip and the .xml was the only file visible in the .ssg wrapper.

I don't have WinRAR installed, but maybe it gets confused by the file extension. If you change the extension from .ssg to .zip, it should be able to recognize and unpack the file properly.

Yep, got it with 7-zip. The only thing is that editing the file and re-loading with the SSG does nothing that I can see. What should we be able to see here? I can see the four level-crossing controls (Raise, Lower, Clear, Auto), and the two blue auto buttons for the two signals.

Having said that, the crossing now appears to work differently to how it was before I edited the file. Before, with the down route set from MC861, and the signal's blue auto button lit, clicking the "Clear" button on the crossing controls cancelled the route, and raised the barriers. The only way I could set a route across the crossing was to turn OFF the crossing's "auto" feature, lower the barriers manually, click "Clear", and THEN set the route from MC861.

Hope this makes sense.
