What loader version are you on and what sim version? Are they the latest? Was this saved game created from the same version you are running now or have you updated anything (sim or loader) in the mean time? Also, what number format is you machine using? There is a bug that occurs on machines where there number format differs from that used in the UK. As a result, when saving a game, numbers get stored formatted as 1.000.000,00 and the code doesn't like it as it's expecting 1,000,000.00. If your machine uses the alternate format then this is a known bug and last I heard, a fix is being tested. Edit: Geoff got in there while I was writing my repsonse.... This error may be related. Playing Vic SE with latest versions of everything. Have saved and re-loaded several times in last few days but doing the same today I get an error message. Trains now in sim and trains entering showing as 'unknown' ARS status. If useful to know - I normally play with ARS on but all substations turned off - I like to see the ARS delay status but not have ARS route the trains. Screen grab of error message attached. Unfortunately, as this appears to be a loader loader issue the only folks who can really debug whats going on are Clive or Geoff I am afraid. However, I can tell you they'll need some specific information as follows.... 1) The precise version number of loader you are running 2) The precise version number of the sim you are using Both the above can be gleaned from using Help->About in the sim. FYI, just saying "the latest" isn't enough as Geoff/Clive may well have development versions of the loader and/or the sim that are being worked on and to test properly, they will need to use the exact same software that you are using so specific version numbers are important. Lastly, a copy of the save game you are trying to load which you should be able to upload to the forum. Log in to reply |

Hi - Loader version 4.0.31 and data version 1.2 Strangely now the problem seems to have corrected itself as there is now no error message when I load the saved game and the ARS status is back to normal. Nick Log in to reply |
