Hi all, just seen the release of New Street. Brilliant news as I worked there from 1989-2001 as despatcher and can't wait to get stuck in. Just a couple of queries-
I am familiar with the Loader and have the latest version. I have donated to sims in the past but not made a full sim purchase. I assume I go through the shop and pay, then await an email with licence details, then install the sim?
Apologies for sounding like a numpty, but I just like to get things straight in what passes for my brain.
Many thanks for all assistance.
Mal.

No codes are sent, you just buy it in the shop, then either open your licence manager, or click refresh in it, and you should be able to allocate the licence from there.

Should be just a few seconds after paying and it'll be in your license manager, as Sacro says.

Many thanks Sacro and Geoff. I'll go for it. I have the New Street sim from another company, but it plays really strangely, so I'm going to stick with the best.

Purchased New Street. First thoughts -WOW! Well worth the wait and full of memories of my years there. I wouldn't know where to start in t/t writing, but would love to see one from the 90s as I would recall many of the reporting numbers and moves from back then. Also starting to tempt myself with Cov/Wolves.
A big 'thank you' to all involved with this mega Sim.

Mal.

Mal...I seem to recall 58080 (aka Pascal) mentioning something about starting some work on one in the timetables thread..

Indeed Chris you are correct, working on Coventry as we speak, followed by New Street & then Wolverhampton. The first timetable I'm doing is from 16th May, 1988 to 02nd October, 1988 as I have both the Coventry & New Street station working books. No doubt will do other timetables for New Street as I have 5 more station working books for New Street apart from the one listed above. I'll try & do this as quick as I can although I'm working on other timetables for other developers which come first. If Mal wants to 'PM' me as my last railway job was also in the West Midlands he can.
