Dave, Neither. When a monitor size is quoted in inches, they refer to the size of the viewing area across the diagonal of the screen from one corner to the opposite corner. Your Belinea is probably classed as a 17" monitor given the part number. However, the overall physical size will depend on not only the quoted screen size but also its format in terms of whether its an older 4:3 format or a newer 16:9 widescreen format. If you know the model number, I suspect you can find the phtsical sizes of the monitor in question from somewhere. Now, Windows won't care what size the monitor is mind you so your only limitation will the physical space you have on your desk to fit them. As an example, I have used my laptop to run SimSig on my 52" TV for example using it's HDMI output (I think there may even be a picture on the forum somewhere of it but don't ask me where as it was quite some time ago). Anyway, as long as your graphics system can support multiple simultaneous outputs (which may or may not use the same type of connector), you simply need to get suitable cables and adapters based on what output connectors the PC has and what inputs the monitors have. The rest is pretty straight forward. I am sure if you google for "setting up multiple monitors" or the like you'll find instructions already out elsewhere on the internet. Thanks James.....I knew that was about somewhere! Slightly blurry photo (South Humberside in case anyone was wondering) but you get the idea!!! Now if only I could get three of them on my desk......

My panels had to look right and work like the real thing but did not need all the belt and braces and safety measures built in. This simplifies things a great deal. The biggest headache building the panels was all the SQUARE HOLES required for the route/TC lights and the train describers! 4 aspect signalling with multi routes got a bit tricky as well! Being such old sims and technology I assume you cant have different views on different monitors on sims like Cambridge, Sheffield and Peterborough
