On the SimSig timetable data converter page, under Substitutions, in the example code there is a line
1R08 CTT=UpEMU; ENT=11:40; $@$=1120; $P$=1C.

I'm puzzled by why the platform ($P$) is listed as "1C" rather than "1". Does it assume there is a platform named "1C", or does it mean "Platform 1" and the "C" means the train stops there?

It's referring to a platform named 1C
