hi all, whenever I try to download N.E.W and I get a really long save name which means I have to rename it and then the computer doesn't understand its an exe file help!!!!

weird im on a slow connection but suspect it may be internet explorer being awkward could I be emailed it maybe by someone? - however, this may invalidate SimSigs terms and conditions?

I'm not sure what difference the file name being a long length makes, just download the file with the original name and see what happens. Or trying adding .exe to the end of the file name. Failing that try a decent browser like Chrome. used to have chrome problem was ie didn't like saving a long name renamed it then renmed again with ".exe" and it worked thankyou

I downloaded it using Chrome earlier and it went straight to Loader. Not noticed any probs as with all my other downloads. Certainly not noticed any strange filenames. Mal. Log in to reply |
