As there seems to be a lot of bug reporting at the moment: It'd be great if you could include in your report:

  1. Have you installed the System files?

  2. Have you purchased a license (if applicable)? Have you allocated said license to said machine?

  3. What Version of the Loader you're using? (look in the bottom left hand corner of the initial Loader Menu)

  4. What version of the Sim are you using? (Look in the "Description of selected Simulation" box, It'll say "Version:")

  5. Have you checked for updates? (Click on the "Check For Updates" button in the Loader)

  6. What version of the timetable are you using? (pretty self explanatory, it could be in the file name, or in the description)

  7. Please attach a save/screenshot or both. Don't use generic locations (such as "on the Up"), be more specific (say things like "on the Up Fast between Stevenage and Welwyn")

  8. Steps to reproduce the issue

This helps us greatly when it comes to filing bugs on our internal bug board, and helps speed up fixes to sims if the issue is severe

If you are posting about installation issues common with Anti-Virus software, please state which version of the software you are using, and if you have tried making an exception for the SimSig Loader / Application EXE

If you are posting about issues with a firewall (with regards multiplayer hosting), Have you tried port forwarding?

Please also post issues in the relevant sub-forum, This part of the forum is for non-specifir Simulation issues.

Also: Have you checked for updates to make sure you're running the most recent release of both the loader and the respective simulation?

Two million people attempt to use Birmingham's magnificent rail network every year, with just over a million of them managing to get further than Smethwick.

...which may require updating twice, once for the loader (which then restarts) and again for the Sim.

If you still have access to the old machine, as I understand it should be instant—just start the license manager on the old machine, deallocate the licenses, and then start it on the new machine and allocate them. If you had to request a license release because you couldn’t deallocate from the old machine, I believe a human has to look at that so it will take longer.

From the shoutbox it looks like you've sorted your issue. Let me know if you're still having a problem.

That was quick. Do you mind sharing what the issue was in the end and how you sorted it?

Not sure what I hit bat I run all the Scottish sims bar Motherwell. They were all the same. I would have thought that everyone could be tweeked to suit your sim.

All options in F3 (excluding simulation speed) are saved across every simulation. It means that you don't have to spend 15 minutes setting up all the options when you install a new simulation.
