I don't seem to be able to chain loader sims successfully (eg Vic Central / South Eastern or Wembley Mainline / Watford Junction). Previously had no issue with older exe sims. Have tried consulting the wiki but can't make head nor toe of it. Basically, having (I think) connected one sim to the other when I un-pause sim A then sim B remains paused even though I've had message that sims are synchronised. Can someone kindly put me straight on what I need to do in plain English (I'm not an IT expert). Thanks in advance. Log in to reply |

Here is STEAMER'S idiots guide amended. 1. Launch "Victoria Central" in Server mode. Use port 50505. To start in Server mode, start a new game as normal, and on the last page of options tick 'Run as a server' 2. Launch "Victoria South Eastern" in Server mode. Use port 50507. 3. In "Victoria South Eastern", click 'Multiplayer' in the clock window, and select 'Connect to External Signalbox' 4. Highlight "Victoria Central", enter the ip address 127.0.0.1, and port 50505. Ensure 'Synchronise time' is ticked. 5. Click 'Connect'. Bingo!
