There is quite a lot of benefits of the new franchise, including, rush hour trains Sheerness to Vic, Javelins going St P - Fav - Rams - Dover - Ashford - St p, with lots of useful connections.
also all 3 Vic - Longfield trains will now carry onto to Faversham and the coast

I see the Minister proclaiming an increase in 95,000 seats (not clear what time period that is over) on Southeastern. Interesting to if she will say anything on Monday (GTR launch) in respect of the reduction in seat number to be caused by the Class 700 "tube" trains.

They may be benefits when the railway is running okay, but trust me, having high speed 'rounders' with three changes of crew on 1 trip is a recipe for disaster!

Vic Dartford's running until 00.09 is good, now if the Sunday service from Vic can be enhanced so that all routes have an at least half-hourly service, that would be a real improvement. Hourly to Ashford/Ramsgate/Dover is ridiculous in this day and age.

Especially when you've come up from Eastbourne or Hastings and you have 4 minutes to cross from platforms 1 to platforms 5 and 6 to pick up a Ramsgate service.
