These are overlap markers on diagonal track.

On certain IECC style interfaces I've seen im sure they have a font character for a diagonal overlap which looks just like the normal overlap. Could we get that added to Simsig?

Sandhills springs to mind.

The IECC ones you're thinking of are only on detail views and consist of a point symbol and a horizontal track character, ie two characters wide.

That explains the difference between what I've seen and the ones above then. At first glance they just look like a specific single character for that type of overlap.
