In Monday's (02/02/15) Times there is a beautiful picture of Duchess of Sutherland running under the wires against a background of snow covered fells. At a guess the shot is taken just north of Tebay with the train running in the Down direction. The Times is a subscription website so I haven't posted a link to the online version. The caption reads:

"Gathering steam. The Duchess of Sutherland climbs the snow covered Shap summit on the Settle - Carlisle line as she hauls the Cumbria Winter Mountain Express".

Monday's Yorkshire Post had a picture on the front of it crossing Ribblehead Viaduct with snow covered fells in the background. No problems identifying that as being S&C!

Wasn't your profile picture taken on the S&C as well?
