Single slip - double slip - single slip Diamond crossing, though I suspect it's part of a scissors crossover. Usually drawn that way, rather than straight lines, when there is a separate track section for the crossing part of the whole shape. SimSig Boss Log in to reply |

The first and third are single slips, the second is a double slip. I'm fairly sure the fourth is called a scissors crossover. It's drawn differently on Victoria LUL, they're normally shown by a straightforward X. EDIT: Geoff posted while I was typing. The VIC (LUL) one was drawn that way as it's a separate "X" TC from the points whereas the slips are generally a single piece of complex track. As I recall it was the only way I could get it to fit, though if I'd not drawn the point TC legs towards the X I could (now I think about it) have done it differently (a bit like, but not the same as, at Edinburgh plat 10/11: there the X is not separate from the through-line TC).
