Thank you for an amazing sim, one of those missing jigsaw pieses.

One possible anomaly I have found is that I can't select era 2006 onwards, it loads up as 2000, with the line speed on the mains south of Winchor Junction being 90 (I believe they are 125 - at least in places)

There is only mention in the wiki of 1980s and 2000, both 1980 (pre 1999) and 2000 seem to be presenting fine.

Thank you again for all your hard work
Mark

Further to the above posts another route which won't validate in the pre-1999 era mode is anything running Down from North Staffs Jn to Derby & then through via the 'TL' due to missing path between LNW Jn Derby & location Derby London Rd Jn. The 1st northbound freight in the 1987 WTT is 7E95 MGR from Oakdale Colliery - Scunthorpe BSC CHP which is booked to stand at London Road Jn from 00*19 - 00*38 before moving onto the 'TL' for a 2 minute crew change 00C42 - 00C44. I suspect there's going to be alot of this.

Possibly relating to Nutter's issue, there's a cosmetic problem with the eras: the eras shown in the 'Settings' box near Kingsbury Jn don't correspond to those selected on start-up. Pre-1999 is shown as 1980, and both 2000-2005 and 2006 onwards are shown as 2000. I still get three different layouts, the text just needs correcting.

I've had to abandon writing Derby summer 1987 tt as there are a few locations missing in the locations list at Coalville. EG: Coalville LHS & Coalville Marcrofts. The entrance/exit to Marcrofts was where ML11 GPS is.

This photo shows the walkway from Coalville signing on point on the right to the signalbox on the left. To the left of the Cl.58 is a pair of Cl.20s & Marcrofts wagon repair depot was on the left of the Cl.20s in this photo. Photo taken in 1987.

This is the private diesel shunter used at Marcrofts facility at Coalville.
Also there needs to be a location ML5(rev) required to allow LD movements on & off the LHS which is also missing.

I have found a quick fix for this although not ideal. If you DELETE Peartree from the timetable the route becomes valid

In the Pre-1999 era Thomas Hill's Ground Frame and siding off the Up Goods at St Mary's are missing. Scrap trains were still calling there in the early-mid 90's, although I can't remember when this traffic ceased or when the connection was removed.

Wouldn't that require a reversal?

Entry Derby Loco Sidings (aka #4 shed) -> Chadeston Curve -> Derby and v/v appear to validate OK in 1990 era.

Isn't S476 on the Pilot Line part of "Derby"? I certainly can't find any other location that matches it.

I want to send a pilot from the LHS to litchurch lane. This requires a reversal on the pilot line which i would expect to report as location derby.

Another thought - I'm sure the line to Denby must have been OTW or OTW with staff or similar given the length of the branch?

Joe,

To get from 4 Shed to Litchurch Lane you need to reverse on Chad Curve, not the Pilot line. There is no route from the Pilot Line to Lit Lane.

The Denby Branch was worked by a train staff released from an instrument by the driver on the branch end at Little Eaton Jn. If memory serves it required track circuit occupation on the branch to obtain a release.

Regards,

Phil.
