According to RTT it appears there are a couple of paths through the tunnel each evening to/from Calais but they seem to rarely run. Is that it, then or are there other goods trains not recorded on RTT?

If others do run then any ideas of where they go in Europe?

Are you checking the right location? I've looked at Calais Frethun (Tunnel), and a quick survey of this week shows an average of three a day in each direction.

There's a China Clay train from Antwerp, which goes to Irvine.

I believe one of them conveyed bottled water from Spain, I don't know which one or if it still runs. I think I'm also right in saying there is/was some steel traffic through the tunnel, but I've no idea where it went.

That's helpful - thanks.

Looks like it's almost a shuttle service but it maybe that they are not shown as through trains. Found the Irvine train as starting at Dollands Moor.

It's probable that the difficulties of getting a path through the tunnel and the time taken for customs/loco changes/bureaucracy at Dollands Moor makes it easier to split the schedules into tunnel and UK portions.

Paths through the tunnel are just that, there are no through trains as they all change headcode & traction when they arrive at Dollands Moor
