Hi All

Hopefully someone can assist me with this. I want to run a timetable (Wimbledon Sunday 4th October 2015) and in it there is some engineering work. The author recommends setting up possessions, but I cant find the sections that need closing, ie the track sections. I think I have worked out how to set up a possession but I am not holding my breath but then how do I know what sections are what in the Incident control panel? The whole lot is confusing me and I would be grateful if someone could do a step by step guide as to what I need to do or where I can find the info for it.

Thanks in advance

Brian

There's a button that looks like a mouse - click that then click on the track circuit you want to put the highlight on andit will select it in the ICP.

Hi James

Thanks for the reply but how do I know what the track section is named as? So for example, It says the folllowing:

1. From 0100 to 0900 the Up/Down Slow is shut between Waterloo and Queenstown Road. Services will rejoin the Slow at West London Jn.

So how do I know what these sections are? I have found the mouse like button so thats a start

As James said, you click the mouse symbol, then click on the track circuit you want to apply the reminder to. When you click on the TC, it will be highlighted in the list, and then you can use the drop-down list to apply the reminder- it will say 'none' when you first select, change it to 'ENG'. This is explained in the Wiki: http://www.SimSig.co.uk/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=usertrack:ssrun:func:f11:track_circuits

Right... Dont hold your breath but I think I may have got it

Firstly I needed to tick show circuits in the options and that helps. So I managed to follow the steps you mentioned. One last question, what does occupancy count mean?

Occupancy count is the number of occupy track commands the track has received. If 1 or greater will show occupied, if 0 will show clear.
