Please note that this is not a moan - its just an observation

A few days ago i got Simsig to finally work on my laptop with Windows 10. As I am still a newbie I downloaded a couple of the basic free sims to get myself back into Simsig.

I then downloaded a couple of the new demos - Leeds Northwest etc - and had a look at those.

I realised I wanted to download Carlisle so today I went to download Carlisle but noticed that even though it is listed under Donationware it says I need to pay £5.

I am not against paying but I was just wondering if you have to pay then isnt it payware and not donationware?

As I am currently unemployed and money is very tight I have bribed my sons to buy me Leeds Northwest, Ardsley and Huddersfield for Christmas.

I chose mainly Leeds Northwest as it has Shipley and Bradford - I live in Shipley and go to Bradford a lot

Anyway I followed your link and downloaded Carlisle. I got an error message saying the file maybe corrupt and also Avast said it may contain viruses.

That's just avast anti virus being over cautious when it says it contains a virus. SimSig is not downloaded much in the grand scheme of things (compared to something like Google Chrome) so anti virus treat these files as suspicious.

As for the corrupt signature this link should help.

"Passengers for New Lane, should be seated in the rear coach of the train " - Opinions are my own and not those of my employer
