Less than 6 weeks after going live on the new server in Fremont, California, we received notice that the Fremont Data Centre was closing. Obviously we weren't particularly happy, especially as their original plans of disc imaging from the US server to a UK one was not going to be possible - in fact, we have to set everything up again. The point of telling you this is because over the course of this weekend, starting now, we'll be moving bits over. There'll be some outages, especially as the DNS records around the world have to be updated and that can take anything from a few minutes to a day or two. Apologies once again for the disruptions. We're trying to minimise the impact as much as possible. Mantis was sorted this morning. The main website (ie what you're looking at) has been delayed until Monday as Memset haven't configured the database server correctly yet. SimSig Boss Log in to reply |

Website has now been transferred. Note that the www prefix shouldn't be used - not https://www.SimSig.co.uk/ but https://SimSig.co.uk/ We're working on getting that fixed.
