Good Afternoon, Myself and a friend are currently running Brighton, and we are trying to link Lancing into it. However, trains are not moving from Lancing to Brighton. Do we have to merge timetables or something? Thanks, and have a good Christmas! Log in to reply |

When connecting 2 sims both must be started in server mode, and from one one of them, goto the menu option 'Multiplayer' --> 'Connect to external signal box'. Then select the appopiate box that you want to connect to, input the IP address (unless chaining on the same PC it would be the external IP of your router) and port number of the sim you are wanting to connect to, and then click on connect. That should chain the 2 sims together and as long as the timetable between the 2 are compatable all should be well. although it is worth looking though SimSig wiki, in regards to each sim for possible chaining issues. Also, One sim would be the master sim, ie: would be the one that pauses and controls the speed of the sims, For example if you do the above from Lancing then Brighton is the master sim. Boldly going forward 'cause we can't find reverse. Boldly going forward, still can't find reverse. Boldly going forward, and things are getting worse!. Log in to reply |

Thanks again. Log in to reply |
